First of all, if you would like to be involved in this project with me, you MUST follow ALL of the guidelines and rules. NO EXCEPTIONS.
I have wanted, for a long time, to do a collaboration type of project with all of my subscribers. I personally hate filming so this would be a nice way to get alot of different clips together and make a nice little collaboration video with all of you. What I am wanting to do is have all of you (or those of you that would like to participate) film and send in some clips of your sims. Then I will edit all of the clips together and make a music video to the following song,

Pay attention to the lyrics of the song. The song is only about 2 mintues long. It's short. The lyrics are short, but pay attention to what it means because if your clips have NOTHING to do with the song, they're not going in the video.

To me, this song is about a couple, a friendship, a family. Best friends, spouses, teens in love, childhood friends, college friends, elderly people. It doesn't matter who YOU see when you hear this song because as long as the individuals you see go with the song it's alright. The song, to me, is about these "couples" that are drifting apart, losing each other, yet they need each other, they need to be with one another. If it's the best friends maybe one of them is moving away, if it's a spouse maybe one of them has cheated and the other one is thinking, "Please don't let me go I desperately need You". If it's college kids maybe they're graudating and missing each other. As for the elderly, maybe one of the partners has passed on and the other one is missing the other terribly.
Whatever YOU decide, your "couple" needs to be missing each other and you have to show it in your video. It has to be SHOWN. Try to be as creative as you can, try to be unique and different. I want this video to express how individuals, how we as humans need and depend on others. How we need to be loved by others.
The Rules:
1) You can send between 3 and 6 clips. NO EXCEPTIONS. You must have AT LEAST 3 individuals clips and no more than 6. It is just too hard to send clips through emails and having more than 6 is just too difficult.
2) The clips cannot excede 7 seconds. When I edit each individual clips ends up being only aboutr 3 seconds, so a clip that is over 7 seconds will not be accepted.
3) Clips that have walls showing, glitches and other hacks showing will NOT be used. I'm very picky with my work. Keep it clean, keep the sets nice. Keep it professional. No jumpy camera movements either. Smooth or still movements only!
4) You MUST MUST MUST MUST have your game settings like mine. I know this is the hardest rule to follow but the clips have to all look the same. If your clip does not look like mine then it will not be chosen. I'm sorry but that's just my rule. I know changing your game settings can be hard for some of you with slower or older computer, but if you really want to collaborate with me, change the settings and just film 3-6 clips then change your settings back!
5) Clips must be send in by November 10th. NO EXCEPTIONS.
6) I have every right to not use one of or all of your clips if I choose not to. Now, there will be a good reason as to why I won't use them, but just letting you all know now, I DO NOT HAVE TO use them if I don't want to.
7) I MUST MUST MUST have AT LEAST 15 people collaborate with me. If not, I just won't have enough clips. So if 15 people do not send me clips, then the whole project deal is off. I will be making some of my own clips as well, but I just can't make them all myself.
How to send in clips. STEP-BY-STEP instructions
1) Comment here letting me know if you will be participating
2) Message me on youtube with the following information;
YOUTUBE USERNAME, FIRST NAME, AGE, GENDER, NUMBER OF CLIPS YOU WILL BE SENDING, YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS, DESCRIPTION OF EACH CLIP YOU WILL BE SENDING, OVERALL SUMMARY OF WHAT YOUR CLIPS ARE SHOWING & DESCRIPTION OF WHAT THIS SONG MEANS TO YOU.
**ALL of that information MUST be in the message. After I read and copy and save all of that information, then I will give you my NEW email address that you can send your clips through.
3) I will respond to your email. If everything went find and I recieved all of the clips I will let you know. If I didn't, I'll let you know and we'll try to get the clips to send correctly. I will NOT keep trying and trying if your clips won't send after the 4th or 5th time. I just don't have the time.
